Close enough to hear God breathe

Hello Book reader's,
I found this book hard to start, maybe it is the season I am in currently or that I have had a lot of distraction's, not sure.
I can honestly say I did not get that far into but from what I have read thus far it is going to be good!!

Yet another great book!! Patsy will have you crying and laughing!! This book grabbed me from the first page, her spunky personality comes right out and makes for a fun read!! What I like to is at the end of each chapter she encourages you to check out a song, a book, things that she enjoys her self!!
This book will help you heal in areas that you may not know you needed to, it will draw you closer to OUR FATHER in heaven through songs and poetry, I hope you enjoy it as I have, its a keeper and a lender!

Joy and Gratitude part 2

A few weeks ago I posted about my joy and gratitude! This is why!! I was chosen to receive tickets for this years Women Of Faith Imagine Conference!! So exciting!! Fresh Brewed Life...

If you are looking for a book that is like sitting with a friend and relaxing, this is it!! I have read so many books over the past few weeks, this is by far one of my favorites.
You will laugh and you may tear up and you know its is ok because its like sitting in a lap of comfort. Nicole takes you on a journey of your self and we all know that can be difficult, the way she does it is so compassionate and loving. 
If you have yet to journal after reading this you will be, she gives you things to journal and ask questions to get you to evaluate your self. She also shares ways to treat your self....you will enjoy FRESH BREWED LIFE...I sure have!!

Hello All,

I found mine at Walmart, the price is great also $2.47!! I plan on stocking up for my fellow stationary addicts as my self!! You can NEVER have enough stationary!!

  It has been a while since I have posted anything personal, all I have shared are book review's today my heart is full and I want to share on blessings!!
Over the past few weeks so much has been happening, in the midst of the storm there are those little things that show you that GOD is still in control and knows all, I am referring to "BLESSINGS"!!
When your not looking and all of sudden you get a call at just the right moment, telling you you were thought of, to receiving a letter in the mail (USPS or email), a small gift from a friend, the list could go on and on and these are blessings!!
Just recently I received a blessing and it was an opportunity in coming a long side a young woman who like all of us at one time in our life was hurting and seeking things that this world cannot offer her, our friendship came about quickly and I know though no longer local as of last night she was heading home, in meeting her I know GOD has a plan...I am thankful to have met her and will be keeping in touch with her. I was able to speak into her life to let her know GOD loves her and that she needs to let HIM love her, that she has value...meeting her was a blessing, and I will miss her, but I am so thankful that she is not staying here and that she was able to see that running from things in her life is not the best way to handle things nor to heal. GOD I know has a plan for her life and in spending the last day with her, she blessed me with a gift that was given to her by someone who has been there for her and, it touched me that she would want to give this to me,
It says: Rejoice in the LORD always Philippians 4:4
Little did she know on how fitting that was, there is no greater thing to just do that..REJOICE in the LORD always!! 

I said goodbye to her last night and though it is not forever, the blessing of having her as a friend is a treasure, in the FATHER HANDS she goes!! I am sure we will see each other again. Blessings come in so many ways and as I have looked around, they are more around then I thought they were....Have you counted your blessings today, if not take a moment or few, grab your journal or pen and paper, start writing, you will be surprised on what you come to know!! 

I thank GOD for ALL HE is in my life, HE is full of surprises and blessings and is waiting to shower HIS children with them....nothing like a FATHERS LOVE, then to bless HIS children!!

Count your blessings and know your loved and worth all of them!!! 

My Review of JOLT!

JOLT!! In this up beat to the point book on 25 different JOLTS that will keep you in thought!! I could not stop reading, Cooke takes you on a journey that will have you spinning!!
This book will change how you think in so many ways and keep you on your attention!!
I enjoyed this book, I certaintly was not ready to be jolted, but I am so glad I was!!!

WOW!!! This book is full of GOD's love, compassion!! Max answers every question that have been on everyone's mind including his own, from guilt, talking to GOD, Suicide, Salvation...there are 172 question's!! What makes this book a keeper and resource for friends and family saved and unsaved is you have a quick resource and with the Topical Index makes it all the easier to use!!
Props Max...this book will change lives and answer those questions for those who are seeking the truth and as it is written on page five question 3..Who is GOD?

Sacred Journey review

This one was difficult..I found it to be not as captivating as I thought it would be.
Basically takes you on the journey of the trials and tribulation's of a sacred journey. Study question's were thought provoking and got you to really look into your own journey or soon to be journey.
It was a a tad slow for me, but interesting too!!

Prayer...

                           Prayer is the acid test of devotion.

I received this quote in my email today and I thought it would be good to go deeper in to it.
 
Prayer is...  

a devout petition to GOD or an object of worship.

Acid is... 

sharp or biting to the taste; tasting like vinegar; sour: acid fruits.

Devotion is...

profound dedication; consecration.

Prayer is powerful, we need it as much as we need our praise and worship, I will not let prayer be a bitter taste in my mouth, but yet a sweet taste like honey!! We are to pray without ceasing, daily we should pray and be thankful for a new day.

We should all be in a place where when we wake up the devil shakes and shouts "OH NO' they are up and armed!!

Are you armed? Are you praying? Is praying a bitter taste in your mouth?

The Sacred Meal book review

I have recently just read this book and it was so good!! Communion is more then just taking the bread and the wine in rememberance of who JESUS is and what HE did for us on the cross.
Communion is meant to be done together, it is all about the body!! I never saw it like that before and it makes complete sense.
This is what was mentioned in the book, I like this a lot..
The practice of Communion is meant to remind us of a place we can go that may not be always visible in daily life.

Wow!!! That has given new meaning to communion for me!!

This was a great read!!! :)

Prayer..

Prayer is the strongest weapon against spiritual warfare, for healing, any situation you may be going through!!! Nothing is impossible for GOD, great or small! We serve an amazing GOD...today I rejoice and and praise GOD for answered prayer!! HE has moved mountains for many and HE will continue to do so,all you have to do is believe and trust HE will do it!!

Faith, Hope,Love...greatest is LOVE

I am inspired today to write from a movie called Joshua, the message was clear...Faith, Hope, Love...greatest is LOVE!! In the movie Joshua comes to a small town that had lots of problems so what happens? Joshua brings unity in the community by building the Baptist church again, his actions brought hope, it united all the community and by doing that it built faith and love.
So what about us? Are we so self absorbed that we do not step out to be the hands and feet of JESUS, to show and express HIS greatest message LOVE!!
Over this past year I was blessed to be able to come along side a very sweet lady, she was strong and beautiful, funny, and I have not laughed in so long as I laughed with her. We shared JESUS, we prayed and we sang and we cried at times too, she is in the arms of JESUS now and I so miss her, what I learned is that showing love like JESUS did for us on that cross is a lot easier when you step out of your comfort zone and just let GOD use you!! 
I am so thankful HE chose to use me in Minnie's life what a blessing!! 

Life is so busy here and there, doing this and doing that, we lose focus on what life truly is, it is loving one another, restoring hope and building faith!! Did you know that love is:  affectionate concern for the well-being of others, did you see that, It is concern for the well being of others, that is the love we need to express and have...revival will never happen until we stop being selfish and start doing what we are commanded to do....LOVE!!! 

With all that I have learned last year and in the beginning of this year, I am determined to not just live, but to love, laugh, play, take adventures, create a bucket list and try to fulfill it and if I don't so what...its just a list!! We have so much to offer to one another and to the stranger, the widow, the orphan, our neighbor...we have faith, hope and love..the greatest is LOVE!!!!!

A MUST READ!!! :)

It is always heart warming to be reminded of the promises of GOD!! This book came to me at the right time. I have recently lost a very dear friend and sister in CHRIST and though I know she is in the arms of JESUS and at peace, I miss her dearly. This book came just before her passing and I could not put it down. Sheila writes with such heart and soul and the stories she shares to relay the message of the promises of GOD are great!!!
I will be passing this on to the sister's and brother's in my church that need a jolt of the promises of GOD!!!! Love it!!

Revival...

P.U.S.H.....Praying until something happens!!
Did you know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made? You are!!!
I will celebrate 15 years as a child of GOD this year, in birth years I have just celebrated my 40th and at first I was not at all to keen on it, but GOD gave me a word and my upset has turned to a celebration!! As I see it is another year to to turn daily life into a celebration of who GOD is and to see what GOD can do when you pray and trust HIM to move!! GOD has blessed all of us with another year and you know with this comes a gift, it is another opportunity to get our lives right, another opportunity to grow. It is time that we all LET GO LET GOD, let HIM revive you and set your heart on fire, there is no greater gift then the love,grace and mercy of JESUS!!

In closing revive us OH LORD...send the rain oh LORD!! AMEN!!

Habakkuk 3:17-19

As this new year has begun I have been going through a lot, and on Monday I allowed what I have been going through to just swallow me up. 
Praise GOD for a new day and as I was getting my coffee a teaching came on and it was on the Habakkuk 3:17-19...
¹⁷Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls,
    ¹⁸Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation!^{(A)
    19}The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! For the Chief Musician; with my stringed instruments.

In other words when you are stressed, hard pressed, finances are not good,when your day is just not right, when your not feeling well, when you get cut off while driving around town, when your not sure what to do....REJOICE!!!! GOD will give us all we need to get through. 
Yes it is hard to see that when you are in the midst of the storm but we have to be mindful of who we are in CHRIST and what we have as children of GOD and fight the good fight!! 
Our adversary (the devil) is looking and seeking to devour the weak and we need not to give him the victory. So lets get walking and rejoicing, We have the power to overcome "ALL THINGS" in JESUS CHRIST!!!!
