Giants in the Land takes you on a journey to equip you with various events in life. Though it looks as if it for children this book is for all ages, we at all stage of life have dealt with many giants and this book will have you on the edge of your seat. In just opening it and reading the authors notes I was grabbed and pulled in.
What I like is Clark gives key character's to help cope with loss of,or seperation from loved ones but not only that he establishes a character that is easily a role model and the character is likable!!
This book is one I will never forget and neither will you, gather your families and enjoy the journey through Giants in the Land!!

This book is inspiring, fun and just like the first one draws you in! These two books will have you looking at life differently both adults and kids. These stories are fabulously written, the pictures are expressive and the wisdom is given so simply.
The names are great, these books are a treasure and will continue to be for years to come. Grab your whole family not just in your home, friends too enjoy these books, discuss them and let them help you as you face your giants day to day!!

Ups and downs in a day

   On any day you have your ups and your downs, today was just that day for me. In waking up I didn't feel good, I pressed through there was a lot to do. Helped a friend with errands, went to a luncheon was blessed to meet and have lunch with an author and listen as she shared helpful info.
Was after five pm that my day took a dip for the worse as I was finishing up a phone call I went out side to check my mail and I looked to the left and our neighborhood Gopher turtle was crossing over the street, a vehicle stopped and watched him safely cross and as he was just about crossed...he was struck and killed by someone who was not only texting but in such a hurry to get where she was going she could not have waited just a few more seconds to let him fully cross and be safe.
I screamed in pure horror of what I saw and heard as this helpless creature was shattered! Screaming, YOU KILLED HIM, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT, not a sign of remorse, she hears me yelling and stops just in reach of me and as tears begin to flow...was everything for me not to go to her window, I staid where I was. The car that had pulled over to take pictures of him, pulled up and offered the pictures they had taken, to find out they are my neighbors on the street behind me. During all of this I am still on the phone with my friend and she is hearing everything...I apologize and explain what had taken place, hang up with her shortly after.
Then to add more to this last hour, my hubby and I get into an argument and honestly it shouldn't have happened and yet the enemy is pulling out all punches, and its getting worse and for what reason...seriously....all I can say is no weapon formed against me is going to prosper, I love that saying, When your down to nothing, GOD is up to something.....AMEN...this is the eve of a ladies ministry that I am a part of and tomorrow is my turn to share a little on Lydia she is the seller of purple in the bible.
I got news for the evil one, I have the victory..sorrow comes for the night, joy comes in the morning!!
Truly this day has been the worse I have had in a long time...I want a redo and I pray that tomorrow and the days to follow are so much better.
When I am UP I will praise HIM , When I am down I will praise HIM!!!
