I will be honest with you, Catholics and non Catholics....Off The Cuff and Over The Collar is not good. With all that has happened within the Catholic church for Bishop John McCarthy to write within these pages some of the things he does is wrong.
I read this book and at times my jaw dropped...to say that to be homosexual is something you are born with, NO! That is not true.
On the back of the book he quotes, "For a person to follow Christ, holding grudges is a real moral cancer.
What putting false theology isn't. Churches today have enough to deal with and that is all denominations but to represent the Catholic church in this manner only brings more hardship for the Parrish.
I do not recommend this book.
